(15 minutes later - walking to dinner) kid3: yo, you know that part about the horse woman? kid4: yea, it's kinda weird that she looks like a horse me: ehh ... you know she doesn't really look like a horse, right?

Fish ...

This is one of the most interesting articles I have read this week. There are so many quotable lines from the article that I dare not spoil it for you. Alright I lied, if I don't put quotes here, you'll never click on the article. Here, women propose marriage and men can't refuse "I had no feelings for her," said Nananghe, now 65. "Then when I ate this meal, it was like lightning. I wanted only her." "It's women who do the asking, and once they have, men are powerless to say no." "I learned the hard way that here, a man never approaches a woman," he says.

Death by Cellphone

I don't smoke, but after reading this article , maybe I'm doing something just as bad for my heath. Using my cellphone still hurts my head. I'm afraid that when I go get a physical checkup, my doctor will tell me I have a terminal brain tumor and die within the year. Yea, I'm such the pessimist. Don't tell me that I didn't warn you .

Farewell 2006!

People do strange things. On the one day in the year when I have a valid excuse to stay up all night, I left a party early and came home to sleep. My parents are out partying, my sister is out partying, but I came home to get some down time. I think I'm officially old, who the heck sleeps before midnight on new year's eve? I wish I didn't have to tire myself out so much these past few week, but I really have no choice. It's all over soon though, no matter how crappy things turn out, at least I'll be able to relax and find myself again. Ok, old man has to hit the sack now. Farewell 2006, I'll miss you much.

Great ... I Write Like a Woman!

I stumbled upon this website that tries to guess which gender you are depending on a writing sample you submit. It's supposedly based on an algorithm developed by a very intelligent Israeli researcher who have worked years studying empirical data. Frankly, I think it's a piece of junk, because it tells me that I write like a woman ... not that there's anything wrong with writing like a woman of course, but I'm a MAN! As you guys probably know, I've been spending every waking hour writing these lovely essays for the past couple weeks. When I put my writing samples for testing, it almost always comes back telling me I'm a woman! I took a couple blog entries and still ... it tells me that I write like a woman. It's ok though, I felt a lot better after submitting some writing samples from famous people. Robert Frost's famous poem says that he's a woman too. John Donne - he's a woman too. Even my extreme-sledding buddy Matt is a woman. Hmm ...

I'm Losing my Mind ...

Stumble into the office at 8:30am Wanted to drink tea Loaded the green tea pod into the coffee machine Pressed the brew button Walked to my desk and took off my coat Walked back to the machine Looked for my tea IT'S NOT THERE "who stole my tea?!?!?" Tried to find the evil culprit Looked for my tea again Realized I never put a cup to catch the tea "DOH! That was really stupid!"

Priorities

This is what I've been struggling with for the past month ...
